Can someone date an appliance for me?

I found a GE Portable Hair dryer in a case today at the thrift store for $3.00. It's pink and white with a model # of HD-11. I know that the HD just means Housewares Division but on the manual (yes, that and the original black and red jand tag were there), it has no date. Everything I can find says 60-70's but no real date.

It is similar to the auction below except my bonnet is white.

My mom had one too, and I agree with Michaelman on the date. I even remember using it!

It works like a charm and my daughter thinks it is fun to get her hair dried now! She does not like the regular hair dryer since it is so loud.
