Canadian member on Vancouver Island

Hi All,
I have perused this site a little bit over many years, and finally decided to join in order to participate.
I live in an old house, like old cars and have older appiances, from the '50s to '80s.
I am a machinist by trade, and enjoy repairing stuff.

Everyone here loves to see pictures of old appliances,,, start a thread showing them off. My other half wants to move back to Vancouver or preferably Victoria but we've been priced out LOL

Unfortunately I just took the dryer apart, so I have to wait to take a nice picture of it.
But there are a couple non-flattering pictures in a thread I have started asking about how to fix it, here:

I've lived all over Canada and Vancouver Island is my favourite place. Not surprising since it has the mildest climate. Similar to Seattle with less rain.
