I know this is advance notice but since I was planning this on the US Memorial Day long weekend, I figured it was best to give everyone advance warning!
I am cordially inviting AWO members and anyone else who is as big a fan of older washers, dishwashers, dryers, mixers, vacuums, toasters, whatever to a Wash-In at our home in Ogden, Quebec. I unfortunately do not have a lot of guest accomodations in the house (and two rooms are tentatively reserved already!) however, there are several Bed & Breakfast places as well as a motel (kinda cheesy looking, but it seems decent) in the adjacent town of Stanstead. Please do not hesitate to email me if you are interested and I can give you more details about where we are exactly and help you find accomodations, if necessary.
Please do note that US citizens will need a passport or a 'secured' drivers license to enter Canada from the US at a land border crossing (that would be at the end of I-91 North in my case!).
I will bump this one up once in a while to remind you all - please let me know by April 30th if you will be attending or not. Even if you can't stay the whole weekend, c'mon up and check out the flaming Westy Dryer or turquoise GE kitchen centre in person!
