Canister vac Tru Test Model 777--Info please!

I was chatting with my Mom and she knows someone who has a vac called a Tru Test Model#777. It is a red metal, drum shaped canister vac with a large white stripe and black diamonds around the stripe. Owners live in Sun City and one passed away and the other doesn't know if he should sell it or just keep it.
