This looks like that place that could've made a replacement fabric softener dispenser for the Maytag combo if it had come down to that.

Machine shops

I wonder if any machine shop could do stuff like that. Say you need a gear for your Westinghouse laundromat. You have the old one with broken or rusted teeth and you bring to a machine shop and they make it for you.
