Ralph and I would always change the stove out at the cottage once a year. Now that all the ranges are in one place, we can do it more often. I changed out the Westinghouse I’ve been using since I finished the studio and put in a ‘58 Frigidaire.

Now that sure was easier

for you than at your former cottage! My aunt updated her late 50's Kenmore 36 inch gas range to a 30 inch in 1971. My dad made her a butcher block top 18 inch cabi net to fill the gap. She loved it as she could chop, and use her bench scraper to add ingredients to pans on the stove.

That little 2-burner electric cooktop you installed was a good idea. Obviously you've become a pro using it although I think you could do gourmet cooking on a hot plate. It sure makes filming easier too. Of course you could have invested in one of those Hollywood cameraman things. And you wouldn't need a heavy-duty one since Ralph seems to have maintained his "school girl" figure over the years.
