We're an informal group with members across the world, so we don't have any kind of big all-member conventions, just smaller gatherings wherever we happen to be. There have been three so-called large gatherings (possibly others of which I'm not aware) with nation-wide and international attendance ... 2001 in Minneapolis, 2002 in College Park, MD, and 2005 in Omaha.

Aside From Special Investigation Sort of Reporting

News media usually are looking for short lead time when it comes to personal interest and related stories, thus next Autumn may be a bit long to wait.

Our beloved webmaster and or perhaps several others with previous experience in arranging/hosting "Wash-in" events are the proper persons to respond to this query. As this is an excellent opportunity let this not turn into one of those "if I, would I, could I, were I" types of threads.

CBS Sunday Morning . . .

. . . is the best show on TV. Your coverage of the recent toaster convention in Columbia, SC was great!!! My partner and a good friend were there.

The wash-ins are phenomenal -- a great group of members exchanging ideas and experiences. And using the older machines that are still running flawlessly. Some of the machines are 60 years old.

It is exciting that you're thinking of doing a segment on us.
