Ralph and I are having fun with pumpkin recipes - some traditional and some a little different. We made pumpkin pancakes last week and really enjoyed them!

This past week I've been thinking that it's been awhile since we've seen a COF video. These pumpkin pancakes look great.

Did you do a range switch-a-roo? That's not the old Frigidaire and it's not the little 30" "Sheer Look" stove you bought either. We got close ups of the flapjacks and of the chef, a couple glamour shots of the stove would have been nice as well as a quickie with Ralph (or did I mean of Ralph?)

deeelicious!!

Happy Autumn Guys,

I really enjoyed watching your video.... going right out to buy the ingredients to make those pancakes!
I made pumpkin cupcakes last week with cream cheese frosting and they were pretty yummy too! Its the first time ive baked with pumpkin puree... Im hooked.
I had to order the tin from amazon tho, as its still not too widely available in the UK.
I love your kitchen too! What an atmosphere in there!
Hey, that gadget you used to measure out the pumpkin puree is swanky... ive never seen anything like that over here!
Thanks again.... I will be watching!
Ian

I made a pumpkin coffee cake for the lounge at work...gonna have to give these pancakes a go, as well. I like to make a batch of pancakes and freeze them in single layers on sheets of parchment. Thanks for sharing another great video with us! Always enjoy your delicious, tested recipes.

My "wet foods" measure has been repurposed. The markings wore off, and it works great in its new role.[this post was last edited: 10/9/2013-06:13]

Anything!

Pumpkin is good, Monday afternoon Donald and I went to his Parents and got up all the pumpkins .....a trailer full....out of the pumpkin patch!

Thanks, all!

Joe - yes, we did a stove swap early this summer. Put in the 1956 Frigidaire Imperial with French doors to change things up. Had fun using it this summer, and we will install something else next cottage season...maybe the sheer look? And yes, a quicky of/with Ralph is always nice ;-)

Matt - the music is courtesy of the Mills Brothers.

Ian - the cup I used to measure out the pumpkin is called a "Wonder Cup" and I'm sure you can get in online at many places. It is also great for shortening, peanut butter, honey and other things that tend to stick to the sides of a regular measuring cup.

Eugene - that pumpkin coffee cake sounds awesome!! I'd like to try that one. Someone told me not to put the Wonder Cup in the dishwasher because it takes the markings off. Even though I've always washed mine by hand, I notice the markings are gradually disappearing.
