That is a BEAUTIFUL unit!
I love the retro design and I understand the appeal, but I personally wouldn't want a compressor motor kicking on and off constantly in my "living" space.
This is why I hate "wet bars" in family rooms (and even worse, in master bedrooms), and "open" kitchens.
Appliances belong in the kitchen or laundry room, away from the "living" areas. Period.
It wouldn't kill you to hoist your ass off the La-Z-Boy and walk 20 feet to the kitchen for that beer or cheese stick. In fact, it would probably do you some good.
