Happy festival of Sukkot to all of you shakers of the lulav and etrog. It is the harvest festival upon which the Pilgrims, with the emphasis on GRIM, modeled the American Thanksgiving. Various additional celebrations have been added to the holiday to where it has more attachments than a KitchenAid Mixer and, towards the end, you have to check the program or calendar to see what's playing that day, but it makes for fun and food to go along with the worshiping so there are good times to be had by all. One of the foods that goes with the holiday is stuffed cabbage rolls, for which I think most every culture has names and variations, both for the wrapping like grape leaves and the stuffing which can be made of various meat and/or non-meat ingredients. In Yiddish, they are known as holishkes. A Polish friend said they call them golumpkis.
