KitchenAid bought Chambers so that they could have builtin cooking appliances back in the 80s or late 70s. With all that's happened to KA, I would guess that Chambers is pretty well destroyed.

I am restoring a high-back model C for my kitchen. I've cooked on friends' Chambers models A, B, and C. I've also cooked with Wolf and Viking. Wolf and Viking are very nice, but I really feel that the Chambers are superior performers for residential style cooking and baking. The Idle Hour Cookbook is a must as the baking techniques are completely different from normal, but they do work!
