Changing agitator in moden Whirlpool, options?

Hello,

I have a Whirlpool wtw4815ew. It has a "agitator" that barely works. It's 3.5cu ft. I was wondering what replacement agitator would fit it?

Unless your machine does a full fill, those agitators won't work. Yours looks like the high efficiency impeller with a post added to look like a "traditional" agitator. Maybe someone else can chime in with other options?

Let us know what happens when you try to switch them out.

I don't think the two are interchangeable but I could be wrong.
