Time to change fridge filter and yesterday I opened the new one...opened the door in the bottom grill where the old filter pops out...(whirlpool side x side) and put the new one in but forgot to take the O ring cover off and I was closed the filter door...the filter door popped off...after trying several minutes to figure out how to get it back on...in the meantime I just put the filter in manually because I didn't want to keep messing with it with the freezer door open...the freezer door has to be open to do this... I was able to get the door back on perfectly but there's a white pull tab I can't get back on and guess what? Now I can't get the filter OUT...I found this one forum (which is sometimes slow to load) of someone having the same problem. I tried and I tried...does anyone have any ideas? All I need is to get the filter out at this point then everything else would be fine. LOL
