This is the same washer as the green one you posted an another thread. And this is the exact pair that I once owned. These are workhorse appliances. $80 is dirt cheap!

Very nice set. They do look hardly used. I really like the GE dryers from this period.
Does anyone know the story about these GE Washers and having the holes only at the top and very bottom of the tub? Was this to create more "turbulence" in the area where the holes are not drilled?

you know, if i didn't already have my maytag center-dials, i think these would be something that i would try to get. but since i've already got my center-dials, i figured i post these in here to hopefully help someone find there dream ge set or just the avocado green washer. they do look nice. and i think i remember seeing a "filter-flo" in action, way back when. but there is absolutely no room for me to even think about getting these!!!

i just hope that someone here can get them!!!
