Corby, that's a beautiful range. I found out fall of 1985 I was being transferred from Houston to central Texas and friends of mine from church had moved from Michigan a couple of years earlier and had brought their GE range just like what Lawrence had with them because they dind't want to leave such a new range behind and their new house had all built-in appliances. And I drooled over the range they had stored in their garage every time I saw it they even offered to selel it to me and I cam very close to buying it because it was the epitome of a GE range at the time. But I turned them down because the new house I was buying was only 1.5 years old and had a fully coordinated/matching grop of kitchen appliances that were Hotpoint brushed chrome & black glass and I was finally going to have a kitchen with all matching appliances and I wanted that. Even though the new house had a side-in Hotpoint range but was only continuous cleaning. I was miffed the couple of built the house dind't spring for the self-clean version of the range they selected. And I had to wait 31 more years before I fnally got my self-cleaning oven range.

Nice range!  Not as clunky looking as the ones with analog digital clock (we had one briefly until we remodeled our kitchen and went with a dual fuel rig in 1990), but it retains the same styling otherwise.

Parts like heating elements for stove top and oven/broiler are still easy to find too!

That is an interesting de-contenting, though, with no Sensi-Temp on the large burner (only the coil size). I believe the analog-clock version of this had the 6-8-Griddle sensi-temp element (though may have been from a prior year--had a friend's mom with that...her husband was a GE employee so doubtless they got a deal).
