Christmas Decorations

Our neighborhood goes all out for the Holidays. This is my street. The last two weeks before Christmas there is a trolley that carries people along a six block stretch and at the end there are cookies an cocoa. A friend sent me this link of a video she shot on her way home after a Christmas party at the house last friday night. The last house is ours. The one after the over the top decorations.

This year we didn't put up any lights at all. We usually outline the house with white lights and a few wreaths on the front, but this year we just didn't feel up to it for some reason.
We have also noticed that a lot of other neighbors have not put their lights up either. Maybe 30% less than last year.

I think it's the economy doing it.

You are right, my new hood is using less lights this year or none at all.
I just did it just to celebrate 1 year in the house other wise it's more for show.....
