Fabulously Fun Thread

Morgan, your tree is stunning! Please tell Mark that he's done an amazing job.

Veda, I love your retro aluminum tree. It is fabu. A friend of mine has a 6' aluminum tree from the '50's or '60's. I'll try and get a picture for you.

Terry, I also love your trees. And again, your home is gorgeous. Can't wait to see it in person.

Greg, I love your ornament tree, especially the vintage ornaments. Fantastic. We definitely need to plan an estate sale shopping spree.

To everyone else, it's been great to see how everyone decorates for the holidays. It's kind of like a virtual driving tour through the neighborhood to look at the lights. What fun!

Haven't put it up yet, but here's a pick of my aluminum tree from last year.

Have you guys seen the "limited edition" or whatever NOMA bubble lights at Wal Mart? They're in a replica of the first (or at least an early) box. They were 10 bucks and change and I got a set yesterday.

Greg, I'm glad to see somebody else still using the vintage lights.

Screwing in the bulbs is half the fun of decorating the tree!

This year about half of mine burned out the minute I put them in. May need to start finding some replacements....

I finally took a picture of mine

I go off in a completely different direction than most others here. I prefer a simple, minimalist approach...but I keep it up all year. Do any of you do THAT?
