Found this today at the Sally Ann. I've wanted a chrome one for ever but the few I've ever seen have been pitifully pitted and rusty. Green ones are aplenty. Mom had one. This one looks to be seldom used.

Plus this blue Kenmore Powermate canister with Magi Cord granted it's not near as nice as someones recent Compact find with the much coveted glitter tools. No glitter just faux bois applique LOL

Pete what great finds, I love the GE polisher. That Kenmore is one fantastic vacuum. I bought one just like it in 1975. My brother has it now and it is still in use and works great. I noticed that the bumper around your power nozzle looks kind of tough, had the same problem with mine, no matter often I cleaned it up in a few weeks it looked terrible again.

These are wonderful! I can see myself on the floor with the Weiman's after each use of that polisher!

Great looking GE polisher

Nice to find a polisher, in such great condition too! How many sets of brushes and pads came with it?

I like the Kenmore powermate canister vac too, nice to have the tools under cover. You can buy replacement bags that offer greater filtration now that weren't available when this model was first manufactured.
