CL Buyer Looking for Avocado

Attention anyone who seeks to get rid of Avocado appliances - this person (in Birmingham, AL) is looking for vintage appliances for a remodel.  They don't say how desperate they might be, but it might be worth trading a few emails to find out.

I contacted the "buyer", but as expected the potential cost of shipping was enough for them to say "thanks, but no".

 

Oh well, I'm sure I'll find another interested party somewhere.

Likewise, I contacted the person who posted the ad and had a similar response.  Shame that shipping is so danged expensive these days...

I have those two 1966 Filter-Flo's but they're in turquoise.

I love Avocado--since my childhood where EVERYTHING had to be green & for my sister everything had to be YELLOW! (So she would'a loved Harvest Gold!)

I used to want to trade refrigerators w/ my grandparents--their '69 Kelvinator was my favorite because it was Avocado & it was so big! Our Gold Bradford was so small...
