That's not so much a BOL dryer. It's not a TOL either, but a sixty series, 1972 model. It has three cycles, and infinitely variable heat selections. Nice machine actually. The next model up had automatic termination, but I think this was a decent selling unit.
Mom had the 70 series Plastic Top washer. But she went instead with a Match-All Dryer. She had donated these to charity in '85 when she upgraded to Kitchen Aid Superbas (matching set). That set is still chugging along and well worth the $$$$ IMHO.
Keep that dryer clean and vacuum it out every couple of years and it will last forever. Those top filtered WP/Kenmores are some of the most reliable dryers out there. And they do a darned good job drying too!
OK, between Scott and Joseph, I got a great out loud laugh from this.
Personally, I really like this dryer. It's pretty sharp, and for forty bucks, such a deal I am guessing. It looks like it is in good shape. The top is often scuffed and all marked up, but this one looks good.
