Yes, due to the need for funds to finish our summer cottage, we are selling our iconic pink 1957 Lincoln, the one pictured over to the left! Not to be mistaken for a show queen, this one is a fun car very solid with lots of patina and 39,ooo original miles, that runs great and can be driven anywhere. The color is Bermuda Coral, an original 57 Lincoln color, it was originally Flamingo Pink, a very pale pink-beige.
We liked this shade better... so 1950s! Asking $5300, so it's not priced like a show car either! Old Cars Price Guide lists over $20K for this model completely restored.

Have more pics, if anyone's interested please call me between 8AM-8PM Eastern Time:
607 754-zero zero threee one. We are in the Binghamton NY area.

Or eMail us directly: firesweep"at"verizon"dot"net

I'm sorry you have to sell this beautiful car. Wish I was in a position to buy it, but my finances don't allow it right now, plus I'm out of garage space.

Here's Julia's Take on Lincoln

One of my favorite years of Lincoln. Wish I had the room for her as well.

And here's Miss Meade in her long, low Lincoln convertible. Yes, the lovely Lincoln got stares. Top down in winter?

A white '57 Premiere 4-door with rooftop air conditioning was our family car for the better part of the 60's.  My dad liked to open things up and hit 100 MPH on the way to Lake Tahoe.  It was actually quite a lemon, but I think in that regard it was an exception.  It was the first car I was ever allowed to drive, well before I was of driving age, in an empty department store parking lot.  I loved the foot-controlled "town & country" radio tuner, including the humming sound that would come through the speakers went it was used.

You have a beautiful car there, and I'm confident it will find a new home where it's appreciated as opposed to pimped out.  It's pink.  What more pimping does one need?

An uncle of mine had a 58' Lincoln. But my aunt didn't like it. Why? Too many things on the floor. I remember her telling my mother that if you put your foot in one place the radio changes stations. If you put it in another the antenna goes up and down and she sure as hell couldn't figure out what button controlled what window.
They did have it in the shop quite a bit. But not as much as their previous car, one of those Lowey designed 54' Studebaker coupes with a V8 engine in it. That was my favorite car for years. Solid black on the outside with a gold interior.

If you've not already considered doing such, contact the (National) Lincoln and Continental Owner's Club. There will be someone in the club who will give that lovely car a loving home! The club has a Mid-Atlantic region which encompasses New York, NJ, PA, CT, RI. I'm the membership chair of the Southern Region of the club. We love us some Lincolns!
