Morphy Richards iron

Is it just me or is there some reminiscence to the old Hotpoint logo on the Morphy Richards logo?

Might just be me.

Loving the appliances, was wanting to get the Hoover Spinarinse but I think my model I want is the 3021.

You are of course correct - at one time both companies were part of the BDA group although I think (and I may be wrong) MR is now part of Glen Dimplex
