HELLO EVERYONE
I having some problems with my Fagor dishwasher, since the first time it remains some stains on dishes and also on interior tub which is stainless steal
it has a internal water softener which i filled up with Finish salt and rinse agent dispenser which i filled by Finish, too
always using Quantum tablets in normal cycle.result is good, but not wonderfully clean
I going to change the Finish products into a cheaper and effective ones like Push

it's like no other dishwashers I own,I can't deal with this machines any more!

Welcome to AW.org BEHZAD!

I am thrilled and surprised that you found us. I think you are our first member from your part of the world.

Is your water very hard? What sort of stains were left on your dishes? Were they white mineral-type stains where water dried in spots? Have you tried adjusting the amount of rinse agent it dispenses? Can you be sure it is using the salt in the water softener? Have you asked anyone at Fagor about your problem? They might be able to recommend a brand of product that performs better with your water conditions. Is it a brand new machine? Have other brands of dishwashers performed better for you?

We probably have members who have experience with Fagor dishwashers who might be able to offer help.

Thank you for writing to us.
Tom

HEY
thank you so much for greet me
yes,I think I'm first one from this part of the world,I must confess people in Iran usually don't take any more about the problem of washers or dishwashers or certainly no one collects washer, dishwashers or ... at all?they laughing at me when I do this or at least can't understand the reason of this work!

by the way I called to Fagor after sale center and they told me that problem may become from your rinse aid you should make sure it's fine,I sent rinse aid to finish company to analyze that, they said we will share you results as soon as we can,I waiting about one week.
I adjusted the levels to middle range(the water is normal)but I experienced suds when rinse agent released
the ex-dishwasher was AEG which has no problem, that was pretty good

Welcome to Automatic Washer Behzad! Don't worry. Many people don't understand our interest for these machines. You are not alone. I am certain there are others in Iran that share your passion.

Hello Behzad!

When I got my Miele dishwasher, it gave "clean but not best" results too. I adjusted the rinse aid to the lowest setting: 1ml. That fixed the problem for me. But -- I am using Cascade with phosphates (my last box). The results could change when I have to start using detergent without phosphates.

Good luck!

Ralph

HEY Ralph
yes I did it too, turn it down to least.
but one question, does your Miele has internal water softener(salt container inside the tub)or not?

some thing like this:

Behzad, no, my Miele doesn't have the water softener, and the water at my house is quite hard.

I wonder if the Fagor's water softener is causing the trouble.

It might be the Quantum detergent

I noticed when switching between various detergents, an old box of Finish Quantum left a slightly chalky feel to the dishes.

Try a cheaper brand, such as shops' own labels. In particular, go for single-function tablets - ones that are detergent only, sometimes labelled as "Classic"; i.e. not 3-in-1, or 4-in-1.
