Is there such thing as a clean rinsing detergent? Or are they just a gimmick? Don't all detergents leave residue if not enough rinsing is done?

Clean rinsing

Is the Halo stuff suitable for coloured clothing too as it contains optical brightners. I have seen it in Tesco's and is quite cheap really.

Optical brighteners

Shall spice up coloureds, not bleach them. Sports wash imo is something for synthetic garments which are in need to get rid of odours...

Yea, the sports wash is designed for synthetic materials, I just thought I'd try it on other fabrics to see how it performed.

Foca

I use Foca with phosphates. Wow does that do a good job in the wringer machine and does rinse out well. The towels have to be rinsed and rinsed but then I think that would be with anything that was used.
