It does work great!!! I cleaned mine Friday night/Saturday morning the way described in my former post....all I had to do was take a nylon scrubber and wipe them off, rinse well and dry. Thanks for the large garbage bag tip. That will be much easier than four gallon bags...and I can put the center "connector" grate in with the others....
 
Since I'm working part of my vacation,, I will give the ammonia soak a try this week and routinely acid wash to prevent further buildup.

The purple cleaner does help with the burnt grease around the eye...... Need more elbow grease and time!

Gas ranges are all one finds in the kitchens of expensive homes. Must be some kind of mass insanity. :)
