Up to Friday I'd been able, finally, to clear away enough shop space to move in the mill, lathe, and even a stand alone electric range along one side of the shop. But the washers were still hiding under a tarp in the courtyard.
I did some more clutter clearing, and then got out the tape measure and actually started figuring how much space I'd need to move the various appliances under a roof (not the carport!) without making it impossible to get a vehicle in and out of the shop. Couldn't be done. Then I realized that along one entire wall I'd been storing crates and boxes of a lot of stuff that I really needed to go through, consolidate, and pitch. Got out the tape measure and realized there'd be enough room for most of the washers along that wall without making vehicle access impossible.
So I was able to get five washers along that wall. Paused halfway through when I realized that I hadn't yet tested the used Frigmore I bought about three years ago. And it was the next thing to go along that wall. So got a beer and some liquid Tide HE free and did a small load in the courtyard. All, it's been a while since I've been able to enjoy a window on the wash!
