Clorox for HE washers

Its thicker for easier no splash-drip measuring and pouring. Also said to not contribute to sudsing.

If it was on the Clorox 2 bottle or box, they might have something there, since that stuff is mostly detergent anyway. I have never had a problem with regular Clorox increasing or decreasing the amount of suds in the wash.

I've never noticed that standard chlorine bleach adds to sudsing; Clorox Complete (their 'premium' bleach) does, however.

wonder about sudsing as some front loaders bleach the load in the first rinse period

My Calypso bleaches in the first rinse in Whitest Whites and the Heavy Duty but in the other cycles it bleaches at the end of the wash period

Trying to figure out when to use Clorox Ultimate in the washers as it has surfactents in it

Are surfactents like sudsy in the washer

Could be wrong, but believe Clorox "Ultimate" is nothing more than the type of bleach used in those stain pens also sold under the Clorox brand name.

Yes,surfactants can cause sudsing as they are "detergents". All bleaches work better with a little something to break down surface tension as they are better able to penetrate stains,soils and textiles. Normally there is enough detergent/soap in the wash cycle to provide this action.

Highly doubt Clorox put a new line into production just for "HE" bleach, and willing to bet it is nothing more than one of the many types already on the market, perhaps with a little twist.

I have an LG Tromm Front load machine and I very rarely use HE Detergent. I can't justify paying 10-15 dollars for a small bottle of laundry detergent.I have used Fresh Start with great success in my machine and it clearly states on the bottle it is a low sudsing detergent.I did buy a bottle of HE Wisk liquid because it was on sale and I had a dollar off coupon. It is a good product and smells nice but it actually sudsed up more than Fresh Start. Fresh Start,(44 loads) is only 3.99 a bottle here in FL. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a Front Load machine. It also has a great, fresh, vintage scent.

Is the Fresh Start available in FL still the powdered version or liquid?
I don't remember seeing it here in CT or in NY.
