Having just purchased a Coffield Motor Washer, I am interested in making it work. Everything seems moveable and in good order. I will take it apart to clean, lubricate & refurbish it. Will anyone offer advise on the best way to proceed or have warnings or cautions relating to this devise? I'm also interested in learning the value.

sure looks like an oldie-do you know when it was made? looks kinda 1910-20 ish to me.Copper was a common material for antique washer tubs both for it's antimicrobial properties and won't rust.
