Coin-Ops From Days Gone Bye

I spotted these in the woods from the cab of my dozer on a fire last week about 50ft from my line and snapped a few pictures. I didn't have a lot of time to look them over but I didn't see any make or model. I thought it was interesting two of them were Blue.

These are GE Filter-Flo machines in Turquoise. That color was discontinued on residential machines in the mid-late 1960s but I think coin-ops from some brands were available in that color a bit longer.

Still, if the lids and tops aren't rusted, I guess they could be saved! The porcelain finish might have protected them. I don't know if the coin box is mounted with extra holes on the top but if not, these could be saved to convert a white machine into Turquoise.

The one on the far right of the photo reminds me of a SQ in the back.

yeah, the two outter ones are Speed Queen machines...

still would have been interesting to see more details of these....Commercial filter flos were front serviceable, hence the insides were reversed.....odd the see the filter flo coming from the 7 o'clock position...

seen a restored GE once at a place where I get used SQ machines....

Controls in top of coin box

If I'm not mistaken these washers did not have a traditional control panel. There was a switch for temp on the coin box! I remember seeing machines like these in white as a kid. They were in the basement of an Apartment Bldg.

Commercial GE FF Washers

GE did not change CFF washers to front service till some time in the late 70s or 80s, cool to see these old washers in any condition, but unfortunately these would not be easy to restore.
