That "Goodall" mower so resembles some KEE mowers--Always wondered if someone was going to use a Maytag gas motor on a mower---they did! That deck design wouldn't meet todays safety requirements--but would be more effective. No skirt on the front of the deck-this design would chew thru tall grass efficiently-and with lower motor HP and blade speed.---so it could be SAFER!!!That little mower is sort of like a mini Brush Hog!The South,sadly,-is rough on old mowers and outdoor machines-esp my way-swampy,always wet-so decks and other things corrode away.and folks out here use their OPE and mowers to the DEATH!!

I love the pneumatic tires on those older machines.  They look like they would be much easier on the turff than the thin hard plastic ones we have now.

Are those two-cycle engines?  They appear to be as I don't see a crankcase per se.

What kind of blade to they use?   Are they simular to the modern type rotary mowers?

To Iheartmaytag

The engine is 2 cycle Maytag model 72 multi motor wich they used on their wringer washers. the blade is like a modern rotary mower
