I've been using some auto dishwasher detergent in my white loads for some time now and it seems to work great. The phosphates are somewhat overkill as I have softened water anyway, but the enzymes and complete lack of suds gives great results in any machine. I have tried the Sun Light brand that contains chlorine bleach and the non-chlorinated types with about the same results. I like the ammonia for very heavy grease loads, waxes and polish and the dreaded stainless steel cleaner used on nearly every new appliance sold.

The story goes there was a rag, used to polish, with an oily substance in it. This rag was used to ah, um, oh, polish the stereo, yes, that's what it was used for, to polish the stereo.

Now, Toggles, wasn't it careless of your mother to inadvertently drop that rag in your bedroom, next to your bed?

Thank goodness you had the presence of mind to toss the smoking rag into the family room before you yelled, FIRE!

I searched Youtube and couldn't find any videos of a Haier, except of one draining water into a Maytag 606...

So I went onto walmart.com and my order says that its still processing... I ordered it Saturday, so I didnt get into the system until monday. I called their 800 line and spoke to a person. It has been processed but it wont show online for 24-48 hours. It now is supposed to arrive on or before July 31st.. Urggggh... I then went over to target.com and it says on their website that its available online and in stores. I called about 11 stores in my area, and according to them, its online only... jesh...I want it NOW!!

Bobby, bpetersxx posted a dozen or so videos in the winter on his Haier collection. He has six machines. A few of the videos are insane. They make you want the machine right now. I think the title of the thread is something like "Another way of washing." Email him and find out the thread number.

When you get the machine email me and I'll call you to talk you through any snags if you need me. I think that you will love this machine.
 
Finally got a tracking number from UPS! It will be here Monday!! I cant wait! Pics and Video to come!!!
 
well, I've not tried to wash any buckets in it, but... <snicker>

One thing I've noticed about this machine is how loud the brake is. When you trigger it, it makes a really scary SNAP. If the machine is spinning, it tends to jerk voilently and fall off the little blocks I have it on. :-S

I finally got some decent detergent and the machine is working a little better. I would still love to find a small combo machine for the shop though, since its a pain to dry the stuff.
 
It comes today!!! I cant wait! The snapping isnt going to bother me.(if the model I purchased even does it) Our RIP Hotpoint (I miss the removable agitator to expose the gentle agitator, and the self cleaning lint system) would make a clunk then as it stopped it would make a bang bang bang sound... weird, but it always did it.. I just wonder if Ill be able to keep the lid open while it washes... Is there a switch that you know about?

It should be here about 530ish! And a load of microfiber towels will be added! Will see how nice it does!!
