How do you doll up complete (just add water) pancake mix?  I'll start . . .

Liquefy 1 banana, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 1/2 cups of water.  Gently blend into 2 cups of complete pancake mix.  Let rest 10 minutes.

The banana flavor becomes more intense when the syrup seeps into the cakes.  The texture is reminiscent of a steamed pudding.

Your turn, world!

P.S.: If you make pancakes from scratch or biscuit-n-baking mix, feel free to contribute your enhancements, too.

I've never found a "Just add water" pancake mix I could tolerate.  I only use a mix where I add milk, oil and eggs.  My preference is Hungry Jack, but Pearl Milling is fine too.  Will add vanilla from time to time but that's about it.cI add a bit more oil that called for too.

Krusteaz is my go to

Krusteaz Buttermilk Mix is my cheat. Usually, I do Bisquick for my base mix, then add from there, [blueberries, chocolate chips, nuts]. Either one is good for a quick starter mix, when in a hurry!
