natural gas refrigerators-A/C
These work entirely on convection, driven by the heat from a gas flame or electric heater. It's calded the "absorption" system. Still used a lot in recreational vehicle refrigerators where the heat to drive the refrigeraton cycle can be provided by LP gas or 12 or 120 volt electric heater, depending on circumstances of where one is parked. Only drawback is that the system must be level to work properly.
