When I installed my 12,000 btu MrSlim minisplit,I ran the condensate drainpipe down the wall and into the basement,dripping into a 5-gal. bucket to be checked and drained as needed-was going to built a proper condensate pan with pump,but with guests coming,saw a Little Giant VCMA-15 condensate pump for~$59,so bought it-quite oversized for my AC,does the job just fine 
Powered by a shaded pole "fart fan"motor,has a 2nd float switch that can be connected to shut down the AC if water continues to rise in reservoir.Unit is assembled in Mexico,but a couple other pumps looked at were made in china...
