Consolation where you find it

Compared to other stuff, this is really rather minor, but I've had an irritating couple of weeks.....

About an hour ago, I accidentally broke my Fiesta Round Vegetable Bowl. Wouldn't be so sad if it were the White Round Vegetable Bowl, but it was the Juniper R.V.B.

Juniper is a really great dark green-blue, but is out of production.

The only consolation.........Replacements.com's price for the Juniper RVB is about the same as for current production Fiesta RVBs.

Why does the Juniper seem to break more often than the White??

As I said there are more critical matters, but........

It was clean, but the 2 qt souffle dish in its path was not clean...so at least I don't have to wash that!

It goes like that... Remember when we moved last year. Well I had to put some boxes in moms garage for storage for awhile.. When I finally got them over to the house and went thru the stuff naturally the only thing a mouse had chewed was my one and only if not impossible to replace spare gasket for my Ronson Cook'n Stir. Out of a dozen huge boxes filled brimming full of stuff that f'ing little mouse found that, chewed thru the plastic bag and took some nibbles out of the rubber. I hope it choked on it LOL
