....continued Kitchenaid DW

Thank you all for the recent advice on my vexing Kitchenaid DW KUDL03FVSSO. We decided to give up the ghost...(and, curiously, since that the decision, the DW worked perfectly last night ;(.....although the water inlet hose slid from underneath on the floor, for some reason?).

The replacement model we are considering is: KDTM354DSS
Apparently, it's been recently discontinued---but we have found it available.

Both are from the Architect Series--so it would be the best match to the rest of our kitchen appliances.

That being said, I have found wide fluctuations in reviews. Any thoughts?
Also,we still have to pull out the current one to check, but I believe it is hardwired. It looks like the new one is a 3 prong plug. Am wondering if the backs are different & if fit will be a problem.

The KDTM354DSS is a good machine.  It has thee first generation KA Clean Water Wash system.  This was the first model of this new style announced late 2014 or early 2015.  My Kenmore Elite equivalent was announced August 2015 and I got mine in October 2015.
