Control Panel Q on A 810

Can anyone tell me what material the control panel of the Maytag A 810 is made of? Also any tricks for removing light scratch marks from it?

Car wax makes the control panel shine nicely and hides the lighter scratches. I was never able to get rid of all the scratches on my 12 series.

The 810 is a nice machine, horvik. Do you have the matching dryer?

Hey Boddy. Nah, don't have the matching dryer, but maybe someday.
Could you let me know if you know where I can latch onto a service manual for it? Looking all over and no luck , yet.
Got that A 810 plugged in and running the other day. Sweet.
