Yep, and it gets even more complicated for me, as I'm living with bipolar disorder.
Bipolar folks are instructed "never to cross the International Date Line"! What that means, in practical purposes, is that you have to be quite cautious in maintaining certain rhythms and sleep cycles. It's very common for folks dealing with bipolar disorder to be "triggered" by very long flight times and go into a hypomanic or manic episode.
You just have to be very self-aware and cautious. I know I wouldn't want some hapless flight attendant fantasizing about beating me over the head with the handle from the drinks cart, or shot by some overzealous air marshal!
It's so strange, how these disorders can interfere with the most everyday occurrences in life, yet so few people realize the challenges a long airplane flight can present...
