Converting a KitchenAid KDS-20 to portable?

I a KitchenAid KDS-20 built in dishwasher. Additionally I have a convertible portable KitchenAid model KPDI620TO. There are no Hobart markings on this machine so I believe it is an early model after Whirlpool acquired KitchenAid, but other than the control panel, the frames of this machine and the KDS-20 appear to be identical.

Does anyone know if I can remove the cutting board and other portability features of the newer and add them to the KDS-20 to make it portable?
