Upright version of Ironrite Port-away 890
Have the portable version.
These ironers had a smaller roller (21" IIRC) than their full sized 25" big brothers and were Ironrite's answer to sagging sales. The company hoped to attract the space challenged market (apartment dwellers, smaller homes, etc....) places where their full sized behemoth cabinet or other models didn't work.
The portable version was unique in that it folded down into a compact space and thus could be stored in a closet or other out of the way place.
Instead of the usual oil, gears on the portable version are bathed in grease. Ironrite sold a special version in cans, I just used white lithium type. This change was obviously needed because oil would leak out of the gear box when the ironer folded down.
