Oh, man...thanks for these! I actually had an old "beater" of a 1960 Bus that had the same "double-doors-on-both-sides" arrangement. Those were NOT common...only seen one other in all my years. That one is just jaw-droppin'! And that Fury...oh, those FINS...many thanks!
Hey Rich, nice cars. I've seen that camper at a VW show here in town before. I think it's a really great re-working of the interior.
We had a car show & auction here in town over the weekend. Interesting stuff was passing through the auction on Saturday. Two vehicles of particular interest were a perfectly restored '53 GMC 1/2 Ton pickup in moss green with cream trim, and a '60 Continental, all original, white with aqua & black interior. Oh, and a stunning lime metallic '64 Coupe de Ville. None of them met their reserve. Fun stuff we could never afford.
Sooner or later we'll own something fun again. Thanks for the post!

we had that plymouth.....
she was white. i split my knee open on the inside door pull/armrest thingy. the face of it was made of sharp plastic. i was not pleased that day...my first stitches. nevertheless, i still have fond memories of that car. my mother would curse it from time to time....the transmission buttons would get stuck in the dashboard & would need to get pried out.
