Thats a classic blender
and very rare. Those were made by Hamilton Beach, and the jar was exclusive to Sears. They worked very well! I have an older version in this basic style with pushbuttons.
I always thought these were sharp looking blenders!

Pete, if you caught the discussion on KA Mixers here, it seems input watts aren't all that important.

I have one of these somewhere!
Mine is the HB version. The ''digital'' readout will do metric to English or English to metric conversions. Used it a few times, but then when the Cusinart made the scene, the blender got put away! Mark PS. Mine was in bright yellow!

This blender looks hard to use.
About the wattage, Im thinking that wattage is perhaps more important in a liquefiers motor than in a geared cake mixer, no?

Brett, I'll let the experts on electrical theory advise on the whole wattage issue as it relates to blender output but I see your point.
Features?
With that many buttons and features I bet you can program it to blend while you're away from home. Think of the convenience!

The 3-lobe jar with the slightly curving ribs inside was called the BlendMaster jar and was sold exclusively at Sears when it was introduced. Today's Hamilton Beach BlendMaster has a rather plain-looking cylindrical jar.
HB made the blender and apparently got to keep the BlendMaster name.
