Ken say it isn't so!!

They'd have to fix the clock and anything else that wasn't perfect before it could be worth 2 grand; hell the finish would have to be absolutely flawless for that much.
On the other hand, $250 ain't bad for its successor, especially with Daul Oven(s)

OMG!

Lawrence,

That stove is GORGEOUS!!!! As usual, the 1961 vintage is the best! I'd easily pay $2000 for that one, if all my money weren't going to save George Bush's pals. We had a 1962 GE double oven and a matching cooktop hood that had those same controls with the offset knobs and dials under the little windows. And, like you, my parents never used the time bake feature, only the timer(for everything).

copper brown?

That dosent look like any copper brown I saw growing up. Looks spray painted brown to me BUT it is the best looking stove out of those shown here. I love the rounded corners and styling of it. I think it would be beautiful in a blazing brilliant white.
Yeah, 2000 bucks, they gotta be outta thier minds.I bet i could find one around here from that same era for 60 bucks.

Was having a thing for Lucys stove, which I still like but Im also starting to like the one June Clever had in the first house, anyone know what it was?

That's Woodtone Brown alright- A recent estate sale I went though had a kitchen full of GE built-ins in that color. Sadly, the built-in-the-wall upright fridge had been replaced.

Anyone ever see Cadet Blue?
