“Never used” seems to be a new trigger phrase for vintage appliances but is seldom true. It’s a good looking late sixties filter flo with original manual though.

Used or not

It’s a 3-speed 1969 model so hopefully someone gets it.

If this is a three speed washer than I've had this model in avocado.
It still had the original three speed motor and clutch in it but it didn't work right.
I was really excited to get this washer and a Versatronic dryer but at 14 around 1983 I had not figured out how to fix a GE washer clutch yet so I switched out the motor and clutch for a standard 2-speed. I was much more interested in the extra rinse feature and those toggles. It was my "daily washer" for several years.

The speed lever catches were on the side of the clutch rather than underneath. And the two solenoids hung vertical off the motor mounting plate rather than horizontal like they do for a two speed clutch.

My Uncle, a Certified GE appliance repair tech who had his own business in the 70s and 80s, took in a GE variable speed late 60s washer from an executive who worked for Kimberly Clark. Although he made that washer their daily use machine, he didn't replace the clutch because it was ridiculously expensive, even in 1980. He just put in a standard single speed clutch.

Good eye Jon when I looked at it that’s what I thought it looked like it had three wash speeds.

Somebody should definitely grab it. It certainly looks unused to me. It’s certainly a bargain at $250 when you consider how rare it is and what good condition it’s in.

I had one GE variable speed, Versatronic washer, the clutch, of course didn’t work, and I threw a one speed clutch in it and sold it. It ran for almost 10 more years. I think that’s about the only way you could fix a Versatronic clutch. John

This is my favorite model of my favorite machine. I’d snag it in a heartbeat if I was a mile closer.
