Correct water level for a FL washer.

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Our Miele gives that sort of level on the Minimum Iron, Dark Garments/Denim and maybe other cycles (Automatic Plus, depending on the sensed load).

Only trouble is, those two former cycles I mentioned accept at best a half-load - whereas I'm trying my best these days to fill the machine. Not sure if those loadings are just "recommendations" from Miele, or something you have to follow for best washing/rinsing. So I dunno...

Hard to tell from the video what the water level is.

I've played with the water level on my Duet and find the most effective level is just below the door opening, top edge of the boot.  More than that and the items just slosh around.  From my experience I'd opt for less water than more.

I think the older duets use

enough water. Matt, you're right. I tried adjusting mine and too much water is BAD because the baffles are too small. I wanted to get it at the level in the video but I couldn't to save my life. It was always too much.....so I moved it back and left it alone.

1/4" less you say? I'll brake out my precision scale and get right on that. But I'm going to go with 6mm, just to be on the safe side.
