Cotton - Lycra

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Long as you don't dry the things to a crisp, cotton/Lycra blends are usually fine in dryer. However much will depend upon percentage of spandex and what we've talking about.

A designer or upscale piece such as a shirt, vest/t-shirt or something I'd check to see what care label says. Such things might benefit from drying on "low" or using "permanent press" cycle.

With spandex you want to avoid too high heat that will break down the fiber, but also ensure things cool down sufficiently to avoid creases caused by heat setting in if things aren't removed from dryer promptly.

For better dress cotton/spandex dress shirts for instance I put them in dryer for a short period of heat, then switch down to "cool down/air fluff". When done take out of dryer at once and put on hanger. If done right things will need no ironing at all. Of course also use the "no crease/Easy Cares" wash cycle on the AEG or Miele washer.

I have a propane dryer now, would you use the Normal or High Temp setting to dry towels & jeans?
Mine has a normal & high temp setting but it also has a normal & high Dryness Level. Normal dryness is not quite dry, kinda damp.
So I don't know if the High Temp might yellow the towels?
