I took these pics today of the place I usually find the nicest stuff, unlike VV they only put out good clean working items and the prices are reasonable.
First picture was into the sun so it's a bit washed out but the place is a treasure trove of vintage

Yes there it still is the KA Imperial V portable I can't take home. And on it's left some boring old Maytag washer LOL. On the right thats a harvest gold Moffat stove. The Maytag center dial dryer that was there yesterday is gone today. The nice thing about this place is that they have some retiree's working in a nice shop in the back testing and making some repairs and making sure everything works properly before they put it out. If something doesn't work right they let you know beforehand.

Was not all a loss, they found this nice Elux AP280 in the back for me.. works like a charm and quiet too, who knows what that dial on the top is for, suction?

The dial is the "dirt" selector that tells the automatic mechanism when to pop open the door "to ask" for a replacement bag.

Fine dust ==> course dirt
