Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I don't think it's timed-fill. However, it won't fill on the shorter wash times outside the marked "Fill" section, which provides a way to get less water (for wash anyway, it'll still do a full-fill for rinse) for smaller loads by manually advancing the timer when the desired level is reached.

Almost just like my "frog-eye". Glenn has it right about the fill. Of course, with that neutral-drain, it doesn't really matter how small the load is----it would rarely unbalance anyway.

Great find----and these old things were really aggressive at washing! That straight-vane agitator is a brute!

Very cool find! The lid configuration is unusual...I've never seen one like that on a "frog eye." All of the back opening lids I've ever seen on frog eyes have been the larger variety that open down over the front of the cabinet. This one has the same size lid as a side-opening, but it opens to the back. This must have been the transition model for lids. I would guess this to be about a 1956 model based on that. I think the side-opening lid on frog eye styled models began in 1957. Anyway...blah blah blah...great find, very cool machine. Hope you enjoy it.

Kenmore no more coveted

Very nice, Darrel

They're indestructable

Love the now gone "medium" setting as well as the "cool" on the $$$ ier models.

Hope you're happy. Nuttin' like a Kenmo.

Check out Brastemps vids from our brother in Brazil. I think your agitator is identical to one of his.

How nice to hear from you again. Did you ever get that old green Easy Wringer going?

Mike
