I spotted this in my local (Chattanooga TN) Craig's List -- (Full disclosure: I am not the selling party, nor do I know them, nor have any interest in the sale)

"This is a vintage Kitchen Aid Hobart dishwasher.

The Hobart label designates it as industrial grade. !!Interesting fact!!: Hobarts are no longer produced for household use. It was installed in my grandparents' house many years ago and was never used. I am renovating the house and no longer have use for it.

Price is negotiable. The front panel is wooden (not pictured on the dishwasher), but can be painted to match any room."

yes,

it is, i agree. the 16's have the top of the control panel narrow and the bottom wider, the 17's are reversed. it is a beautiful kds-16 and it is a great price!

if no one else grabs this one i may have to. i don't have a kds-16 in my collection, just 2 kdi-16's.

i cannot believe it was never used! it would be so mint!
