Cute Mini Ironrite

Towards the end of it's production years, Ironrite made two small units. One was the 890 portable, the other was the 880 stationary. Same machine basically just the former could be stored away folded and rolled about, the later was meant to be more like furniture and had a very nice cover.

Very neat idea! Reminds me of an old compact stereo; would probably camouflage itself quite well in a "modern" living room!

Those units pop up on eBay often enough not to be so "rare". Not as often as their larger cousins, but still often enough, will keep my eyes peeled for you.

When I purchased my portable Ironrite 890, seller claimed they were "rare" and perhaps they were, but several appeared within four weeks later, and more since then.

Only thing can see different about this unit is the seller seems to be some sort of Ironrite expert and has spiffed up the unit.
